Description of Our Clinics!
 

“Beginners Clinic” 
(Ages 4-14) This 1 ½ -hour clinic is a FUN and LEARNING clinic for children who are trying to perform front rolls, back rolls and/or straight leg cartwheels, handstands and other basic skills. We will not perform any back handsprings in this clinic. Children will work on progressions and drills on different pieces of equipment to achieve better basic skills. Children MUST be 4 years of age and be able to obey their coaches to sign-up for this clinic. Your child will feel more confident about themselves on performing their basic skills after this clinic.

“Handspring & BHS Series Clinic”
(All Ages) This 2 -hour clinic is a great way to work on back handsprings, progressions, drills and other skills needed to learn a BHS on different pieces of equipment. Also for those children who can already perform a BHS, they will work on series of back handsprings thru repetitions of standing and round-off back handsprings on different pieces of equipment. Children MUST be able to perform a straight leg cartwheel and handstand to sign-up for this clinic. Your child will feel more confident about themselves on performing BHS’S after this clinic.

 

“Flipping and Twisting Clinic”
(All Ages) This 2 -hour clinic is a great way to learn how to flip with no hands thru progressions, drills and other skills needed on different pieces of equipment. Also for those children who would like to learn how to twist the correct direction in their front and back flips thru repetitions of drills on different pieces of equipment. Children MUST be able to perform a series of four (4) BHS’s on the Tumbling Floor (includes Rod, panel, or carpet foam mats). Your child will feel more confident about themselves on performing flips and twisting skills safely after this clinic.

“Cheernastics Clinic”
(Ages 6-9 yrs) and (Ages 10-14 yrs) - This -2 hour clinic is a great way for your child to learn to jump, stunt, tumble, and dance. Also will work on cheerleading fundamentals and all the basic motions and will learn simple choreographed routines and will receive all the basics in order to prepare your cheerleader in taking it to the next level. They will learn progressions using the various equipment.

 

COST FOR EACH CLINIC:
2 hrs = $30 / 1 ½ hr = $25
($5 discount if child is currently enrolled in Classes)

 

Must pay when you child signs-up @ the gym or pay over the phone - NO REFUND OR CREDITS unless Starz Cancels the Clinic. Must have 8 paying children. If not 8 paying children enrolled, you will be called by Monday evening or Tuesday morning prior to the Clinic. Time could change if needed because of the number of children signed up for the benefit of your child. Drop-ins the day of are welcome, but are subject to being turned away if the clinic is full. If we cancel, you will not be called because you did not pay and have no way of knowing you were going to drop-in.
